Thanks for your invitations. It's been a great privilege for me to be part of your events, concerts and celebrations.   Yes, it's nice to be recognized with competitive awards for my vocals live on International Television, so at least new audience members know quality and commitment is assured,     I'm Honored  that so many of you  repeatedly choose our band for  music,  listen,  invites,  kicking back and swing dancing with us  -  The Rat Pack Band.   It's been very nice to be repeatedly invited back to our events and venues by our hosts.

Today our Band - The Rat Pack music is very diverse from Today's Hits,  our original compositions we write arrange  to  many Swing Dance Floor Classics.  Our Band has depth, tradition and diversity of NYC's finest Studio musicians and we can proudly switch it up at a moments notice to keep you party events rolling and swinging. 

Of course, since I am from Hoboken NJ,  Mr. Frank Sinatra's hometown and even his first house here, many people start to get to know me and our band for performing these Swing  Timeless ever elegant classic hits of Sinatra.  If your primarily want a Frank Sinatra Tribute cover band that's competitively awarded on International Television, our - The Rat Pack Band is your Finest choice in NYC - Quartet to Big Band and we team with may of the area's major orchestra's if you desire strings and woodwind complements.   Today we are often asked to perform a Tribute set or show  - Just to Mr. Sinatra's songbook or his many great entertainment casino friends.  We sure are proud of this music that started right here in Hoboken, so we're glad to share it anytime. 

It's great to see audiences kicking back, dancing,  smiling and cutting loose from a long work week.  For the audiences the music and dancing was just a  beautiful break and escape from all their demanding Manhattan jobs and long work weeks. 

Today, seeing our The Rat Pack Band's Dance Floor audiences all swinging, embracing the magic of the music and dancing are always great rewards for all members of our band.

Today when my Audiences want to get dancing,  during our swinging band performances of  Swing Dancing,  Lindy Hop, Boogie Woogie, Sinatra swing and Rat Pack party songs,  my Rhythm Section Kicks In  and  WE SWING IT  with the greatest up-tempo tunes of  -  Rock, Party Classics, Soul, Motown or Classic Disco.   So, get your dancing shoes on. 

Swing, American Songbook, Jazz, Opera, the Symphony, Concerto, Mandolin, Fiddle and Flute music are my family's  heritage, traditions and roots, but I  grew up on  Solid Rock, Motown, Disco, House, Club and Pop Music of Endless Moonlight Jersey Dance party Band nights.

Band performances and entertaining as a Vocalist  has been great and quite a change for me,   Yet, it draws on much of my Manhattan Dance Club DJ  and music entertainment experience.

Living and entertaining in New York, NY for many years, the sounds of the city are as diverse as its pace and citizens, but it weaves into the fabric of your music soul to drive your rhythms and heart all through the night -  All Night.

NYC audiences challenge your creative craft and drive you to deliver maximum performance quality. 

It's a great creative  music tuning ground, but the love for diverse music requests keeps you grounded and dedicated to your art,  craftsmanship and performance.

For my audiences, I always strive to share compelling  music and performance quality.   It's the very least I can do to pay them for all their respect, support and love.
 

Manhattan New York City is where I started my music career,  As Club DJ MC  for over 10 years, I'd been mixing and spinning in the NYC DJ booths all over Manhattan.  I was very dedicated to my Craft and Lord knows I had some fun.  A Great music proving  ground, but very much NOT center stage.  It further inspired the love for the swing music performances I share today.

 I've performed at the trendiest velvet rope night clubs and venues, for the chic, all around town.  It's Amazing.    I've even spun at  Webster Hall,  The LimeLight,  The Copacabana,  The Hammerstein Ballroom,  El Morocco,  Latin Quarter,  The Javits Center,  The Surf Club,  The Hard Rock Cafe  and  even the then Re-Opened fabled  - Studio 54 Disco.  There are  Multi- Million Dollar  - stages, sound systems, thumping bass, robotic lighting, and  Manhattan dance crowd audiences of over 10,000. 

Spinning many music groove formats with diverse international audiences and instrumental orchestrations,  In the elevated DJ booths, away from the crowd, I was tucked away beyond the packed dance floor audiences, staging, curtains and bass bins, compelling the audience's  release to groove freedom and some fun.  Orchestrating the Magic of the Music shielded in DJ Booths,   I've run all the Sound ProAudio and Lighting Systems from behind the scenes and curtains. 

As  DJ  -   I always mixed spun music to reveal the moments of emotion for all my dance floor audiences,   to help all capture an evening of escape, desire, dreams, and satisfy hunger of their inner music soul.  I'd be sharing the magic of the music to compel joy and introspection -  Just the pure fun - All Night

Today in vocal concert performances, with Renaissance American Songbook,  I strive to share the same compelling  feeling and emotion for my audiences. The fabric of music magic of the American Songbook helps me share that.

Studying and looking deeper into their lyrics and verse, you have to ask yourself  - 
     Are the lyricists talking about me?     It sure sounds like they are.
The lyrics of the American Songbook are the very soundtrack of all of our lives - 
    Our Desires, our Hunger, our Struggles and even our Dreams. 

Combining all  swing music entertainment aspects, I've strived to deliver quality performances that are compelling for all my audiences and events.

Being from Hoboken, NJ, Mr. Frank Sinatra's Hometown Birthplace  We are so grateful for Mr. Sinatra's music, contributions, innovations and incredible lifetime of achievements in the music arts and productions.   He was just a Kid here in Hoboken, who dared to Dream, and Dream Big, then work hard chasing his dreams and ultimately making beautiful music for us all.   

Now, with my grandparents growing up in Hoboken in the very same building house with Frank Sinatra and his parents,  when I hear Sinatra music,  it is always great time to count my family blessings.  

FIRST  - I'm a big fan of the Mr. Frank Sinatra. his great contributions and achievements.   It's all still all beyond beautiful and timeless.  The More I learn about about him, the more, I admire his music contributions, especially to our community. .

SECOND  -  I would like to personally thank and recognize  Mr. Frank Sinatra's entire family for their   extraordinary generosity, contributions and   their continued donations of their personal time  to our small City of Hoboken, NJ -   
Frank, Dolly and Martin Sinatra's Hometown. 

Here in Hoboken, It is with great honor, respect and privilege that we celebrate Mr. Sinatra's music legacy, history, his family and the vast contributions of their family's life's work, both in Hoboken and the entertainment world.

Truly so many in Hoboken sing and carry a Sinatra Swing song in there Hearts Everyday.  As a Hoboken musician, when I am asked to celebrate Sinatra and Rat Pack music here, the most exciting moments are when and entire venue erupts into an Old School Sing along.  It's Beautiful. 

Frank Sinatra is still today a great champion of the swing American songbook and its many contributors, including:   Rodgers and Hart, Cole Porter, Johnny Mercer, Harold Arlen, Bart Howard, who all wove  extraordinary beauty into their lyrics. Sinatra was incredible at his great music art, never compromising quality of his music with his audiences.   We do admire his dedication.

I've been fortunate to selected and invited to perform as the Opening Music Act for Multi-Platinum International Hall of Fame musicians and recording artist headliner bands and acts.  It's incredible.  What an Honor!

Over the past years, I had the privilege of singing to many great dancing and live music concert audiences -  Amazing, but I've sung to Millions of guests with the largest audience of over 40,000+   Wow! - The Television appearances Audiences just far beyond that size. 

All Singing along,  word by word, to our favorite Party Pop songs and Frank Sinatra Music Rat Pack songs.  It's a very beautiful thing  to see so many couples in the audiences singing, dancing, smiling, having fun and   celebrating our music . Together.  All embracing the magic of the music in the American Songbook.   I am grateful for it all.

We Know - There was Only One,  and will only every be One, -
Mr. Frank Sinatra, Our American Original  and Our Hero. We pay Homage to him.  Our Hometown American Success story of Achievement.  We cherish his  60+ Year Career of making great music. 

Here in Hoboken NJ - Yes, we would all very much like him back.  
His Worldwide Music Legacy endures.   He has left us a Beautiful Music Legacy to
Celebrate his great Contributions to the American Songbook and Swing.

Your Hometown Hoboken is Still Singing Swinging Homage.  

If heartfelt, historic and fun tribute vocals of the highest quality is your desire, we are your musicians to support.

Our presentation is Super Retro, smooth Historic Heritage Fun from the earliest parts of Mr. Sinatra's career, when he first started right here in our City of Hoboken.  We take extra pride in our high vocals presentation so you can feel the poetic love in his many great Sinatra Rat Pack songs.  Above All, I always hope our tribute music is Heartfelt and helps audience member reminisce of our Great Sinatra Rat Pack American Songbook traditions.  It is great to celebrate it.

What's extraordinary is we know everyone in the NY area carries a Sinatra song in their hearts and sharing it makes for amazing Sinatra music magic.

Many Audience Members Keep Asking - How is that  you Sound and Sing so much like Mr. Sinatra? 

 Wow, that's very humbling and gracious of you. 

 To respectfully answer you all -  Sorry,  but  - I don't know.  I wish I could tell you.

Whenever, I am requested to share a Sinatra song.   I mostly strive to deliver a heartfelt historic tribute.  If audience members hear me and reminisce about Mr. Sinatra's many contributions that got to be a good thing for us all.

I would offer to share a couple personal things from of my life that might account for a little bit of this. 

First  - Our Families, mine and Mr. Sinatra's, did live together in the same Hoboken building house home for 15+ years,  so it might be a Hoboken NJ neighborhood thing.

My family grandparents and Aunt grew up in the very same Hoboken NJ tenement house building with Mr. Frank Sinatra and his parents, Dolly and Martin Sinatra.  415 Monroe St  Hoboken, New Jersey's  (then 1914)  Little Italy - Piccolo Italia - Hoboken's  "Downtown"  Neighborhood. They All lived   there for 15+years together in a very small Cold water tenement, before Frank was born in 1915 in that same house. 

Mama Dolly Sinatra, Frank's mom,  was godmother to both my grandmother  and uncle.  Later 1929  when the Sinatra's moved to Garden St, it was next door to my Uncle Jerome, who helped Dolly with admin efforts for the early years, Frank Sinatra Fan club. 

So I would guess our family's may share   a few things in common  - Perhaps a neighborhood, tone, vocabulary, or Hoboken dialect that was shared among the families.

My Grandparents lived and raised their Family in the same house where Frank Sinatra Music was Born  and Where his music  all Started. 

Second  -  Mr. Frank Sinatra's lyrical phrasing  delivery has a very positive forthright Hoboken integrity and character.  Hoboken, where our families   grew up, was a tough maritime industrial factory city. 
Maybe such lyrical integrity delivery can only be forged in the fires of such a city.

No doubt, it takes a very Tough, Tenacious, Rough, Resilient, and Committed 
integral character and person to deliver such tender poetry in those Sinatra lyrics. 

Without appreciating rough tough situations and difficulties in our lives,
How can any of us truly appreciate life's great things,  and in turn share the  poetic beauty and delicate verse of the American Songs book's many contributors. 

Some might say  - our families share a similar experience of verbal delivery  -  A kind of  -  Say What Ya Mean, Mean What Ya Say, approach. -  Some of these might account   for some similar familiar lyrical delivery, presentation and vocal sound.   

I just hope my Tribute Singing Homage helps an audience members reminisce a bit
to enjoy the music in a great  celebration of Mr. Frank Sinatra's tremendous music legacy, life, and contribution to us.

Our Swing City of Hoboken is a City of Dreams, at least for one Singer, our Favorite son, Mr. Sinatra, 

Hoboken has amazing world history and Swing music traditions the greatest US Immigration Cultural melting pot. Opera and Symphony Orchestras were traditons of our immigrant great grandparents. Lots of Saloon Piano players and sing alongs. Our Seaport City had incredible music travelers arriving daily.     Today we are still swinging, We have the greatest music mix in the NY area.  Hoboken NJ directly across from Manhattan NYC has a great location to launch music on the NY Metro area.  Music has changed tremendously over the years.  

Hoboken is  the birthplace of Francis Albert Sinatra and Jimmy Roselli  (just 5 doors from the historic Sinatra house).   Other famous music vocalist performer resident includes Pia Zadora (grew up here)  and  songwriter, Steven Foster  (Famous for - Oh Susanna & Camptown Races) lived here for some time.  

Hoboken Sinatra Family, Friends and Neighbors all agree, nobody ever dreamed that  young Frank or anybody from Hoboken would ever grow up to be the USA's First American Idol and International Music Icon.  He was just a kid that dared to dream of great things, then really worked for it all.  It's All too Amazing.

Today, the Very Small Mile Square City of Hoboken NJ is  the heart of the heart of the NY metro area music scene.  Our Hudson River shoreline looks directly at Manhattan .  With all of it's quick access to NYC, our Seaport and All points West, with it's huge mass transit hub, clubs and concert venues, Hoboken is still a music party capital for the entire New York City Area and New Jersey Band Pop scene.  A few clubs even play live music 7 nights a week.

Today, Hoboken's factories,  Steel mill and shipping port are gone, but we are still the home of many NYC studio musicians for your easy Manhattan commute, plus many of NY's Pro Athletes, Senators, Governors, Television Entertainers and still many hard working Families.

Mr. Sinatra was an Original and One of a Kind very special person, especially here in Hoboken.He was the USA's First American IDOL and ICON International Music Entertainment.   Mr. Sinatra was   The World's Very First Worldwide  Multi-Media SuperStar -  Radio, Records, Concerts, Films, Stages and Stadiums. 

It is an honor to pay Homage to him as a music tribute reminiscent of this extraordinary traditions.

Audiences today still want and like to hear those favorite songs delivered with those arrangements and Sinatra style  that Frank made so popular .  He redefined so many of those American Songbook Classics forever.

It's easy to understand how so many international music critics have repeatedly rated  Frank Sinatra "The Best Singer Ever" - Period.  

No other vocalist in history has sung, swung, crooned and serenaded into the hearts of the young and old..

as  Frank Sinatra, the consummate artist from Hoboken, NJ.  

He is still appreciated by family members of all ages. 

The Conductors, Chart Arrangers and Philharmonic Symphony Orchestras  that he performed with are still   today  on the musicians' world class performers list.   

So, it is our greatest honor to pay homage to our NJ Hoboken hometown hero,
Mr. Frank Sinatra, his parents and his extraordinary contributions.
 

My family immigrated to the USA at the turn of the century from Italian coastal fishing and shipping cities on the   Eastern and Western sides of Southern Italy and Ireland.    All have very diverse and deep music traditions and cultures.

While immigrating through America's Gateway, Ellis Island, my family found one of the popular Industrial Factory Cities to find shipping jobs and factory work was Hoboken, NJ, right across from NYC Manhattan sitting in the shadow of the skyscrapers.   The City of Hoboken is just a mile square city and on the Hudson River coastal waters over looking the New York, NY buildings and skyline.   We have a very inspirational view of that majestic skyline.

The City of Hoboken, New Jersey was a great maritime shipping - passenger cruise port and had lots of industry, factory and shipping jobs.  It was a 24/7 City as factories and workers operated three shifts a day.  For course it had Saloons, Bars and Restaurants also open 24/7 to accommodate all the workers after they got off their jobs shifts around the clock.  

Over 450 Bar licenses in a mile square City of Hoboken, New Jersey.   For entertainment, at the many Saloons before phonographs (record players) and jukeboxes got here or even affordable for neighbors, they had - Pianos and Singers, but who could afford a piano. If the mood was right, Saloon Bar Group sing-alongs, were thing.

If parents worked in the Saloons, all family members stopped by even the children.   They had Kids sing songs at the Saloons for pennies or food or candy, especially if your family was lucky enough to own a Saloon, much like Mr. Frank Sinatra.   Sure, the neighborhoods were tough, but it built character, resilience and tenacity.

Hoboken still has a small town neighborhood feel.  It even had a Little Italy neighborhood, so Italian immigrant families could keep close to their great traditions and church, even if they had a lot of struggles.

My grandmother, Josephine, born in 1910, was born in and grew up at 415 Monroe Street in Hoboken's Little Italy.  The modest building had eight, small cold water flat apartments.  My grandmother's godmother, Dolly Sinatra, and her husband, Marty Sinatra, lived in the very same building for 14 years and raised a family with one son, Francis Albert. I'm sure no one in the building could have ever imagined that Godmother Dolly Sinatra's young son, Frank would ever go on to redefine American music history.  All from these very humble Italian Immigrant Hoboken family beginnings.

My Uncle Jerome also happened to be a godchild of  Dolly Sinatra.  Momma Dolly Sinatra ran the Frank Sinatra Fan Club for the early years of her son's singing career.  She answered  lots of fan mail and she seemed to be a favorite cook for many of the musicians and bands that her son practiced with in NYC.   It seemed her godson, Jerome (Uncle Jerome to me), had very good  penmanship (very important to respond to fan's requests for autographed pictures).  Jerome also seemed to be able to carry many of Momma Dolly's Italian specialty meals to those NYC music studios for the bands and Frank's musician friends.   Apparently trays of sausage and peppers sandwiches was the big band musicians' favorite treat. 

Even today, the musicians I work with, would run to that food knocking over everything and everybody in their way.  Hey, you can't make great music when you're hungry!    

Many Hoboken families wish the Sinatras never moved from Hoboken or went to the West Coast. 

You have to ask, would Frank Sinatra's music have ever grown to all of its fullest, historical, international dominance from here on the East Coast?  No doubt movies helped sell even more music albums.   The History - It's just all so amazing. 

During his 60-year music career, Frank Sinatra's music touched the lives of so many of our family members.

  Each day the very least we can do is to pay homage and tribute to Frank Sinatra and his music innovations.

It is an extraordinary privilege to receive any award recognition for my singing.

Winning the coveted,  International FRANK SINATRA IDOL Vocalist Competition Championship on USA National Network Television that was broadcast  Internationally.  It's amazing.

Wow, It Is Still a Dream and Unbelievable.  I am truly honored.   I can't believe I won.   It's all very humbling, when I think about Mr Frank Sinatra's great legacy to us all

It was just a great privilege and honor to sing tribute & homage to Mr. Francis Albert Sinatra,  especially in his hometown of Hoboken, NJ.    All in Sinatra Park, the Hudson River waterside park named for him, which  overlooks the beautiful Manhattan Skyline at dusk with a Summer Wind.  

I just tried to share some music with the large audience crowd in order to  pay homage and tribute to Mr. Sinatra's traditions and his numerous innovative music contributions to the American songbook, which are absolutely beyond incredible.

Frank Sinatra music arrangements of the American songbook broke the mold and set a new standard for those songs.

It seems like a dream to be sharing Sinatra music nationally on TV with an audience of Mr. Sinatra's most devoted fans from his own hometown, Hoboken, New Jersey.   Some audience members are Sinatra's cousins, others knew him  when he grew up in town and still others  worked with his parents, Dolly and Martin Sinatra.  The Judges were tough.  They all knew the entire Frank Sinatra catalog, song, phrase, word,  lyric and every note of each Sinatra song sung.  Whew!

 I only knew that their performance challenge and criteria would be the very highest standards to try to meet.

As I completed presenting my song of homage and tribute to Mr. Sinatra and his devoted fans, the audience erupted.  Then suddenly, I'm getting their votes of confidence, praise, cheers, applause, a Winner Championship Trophy  and all of it on national network television.  

I know Sinatra music is magic, but this moment is all just unbelievable.  

Wow!   What a Dream!   The entire event is just a little bit of Heaven."  

It's great to get a dance floor swinging for an audience with up-tempo Swing.  

But the romantic soft ballads and serenades of the American songbook are the soundtrack of love in our lives.  Early in his career, Frank Sinatra was best known for delivering his art of intimate vocals in these songs. 

I get many singing requests from couples who love to dance to these romantic soft ballads and serenades.  

Now as a vocalist, in sharing these softer intimate songs, I offer to those dancers some mood vocals that I hope are compelling.     

While I deliver these romantic soft ballads and serenades, I'm one-on-one with you, the audience. I have been sharing all the intimacy in the great poetry within each slow song.  I find the charm of these beautiful lyrics and verses almost hypnotizing.  They just leave me emotionally vulnerable - raw, bare, exposed for an audience.  The lyrics evoke so many feelings of our lives.    In sharing these songs, baring my soul to an audience has not been easy. 

I'm out in front of a stage now. I have no more DJ booth or curtain to work behind to shield me from my audiences.  The only protection is the cover of all the beauty in the poetic lyrics and there love.  Up on stage,  I have to wrap myself in that poetic protectiveness offered by the lyrics, so I can better share with you and audience members the love and emotion of these lyrics. 

Previously, could I have been emotionally prepared to understand, feel and share such intimate lyrics?  

Who's to say?   I would like to think so.  

Maybe that's what makes each individual live concert unique. 

Maybe that's what makes the love of the music of our souls so very special.
